An ordinary passport is a type of passport issued to Turkish citizens who meet specific conditions by the Ministry of Interior, authorized governorships, or Turkish consulates. It is burgundy in color, which is why it is also known as a burgundy passport. Holders of an ordinary passport can enter visa-free countries directly with their passports. An ordinary passport consists of 38 pages, and any visas obtained are recorded in this passport. It can be issued for a period ranging from 6 months to 10 years, depending on the applicant’s request.
